Four-day-old girl child abandoned in Hyderabad - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: A four-day-old girl was abandoned by her parents in Hyderabad. The baby was found by an autorickshaw driver in a travel bag, early in the morning on Sunday.

The autorickshaw driver Mahesh, a resident of Vanasthalipuram found the baby on a footpath near Sagar cross roads at around 6 am. “The man approached the bag as it was half open and he could hear a baby crying. The parents must have abandoned the baby not more than a couple of hours before Mahesh found her,” the police said.

The baby has now been shifted to the children’s hospital in Ameerpet area and police suspect that the baby must have been abandoned by the parents as it was a girl.
