Former Minister Tammineni Sitaram bids goodbye to TDP

In a major blow to the Telugu Desam, party senior leader and former minister Tammineni Sitaram resigned from the party on Sunday.

He announced his resignation to the primary membership of the party. He sent in his resignation through a fax message to the party.

Sitaram expressed his dissatisfaction against the party's stand on bifurcation of the state.

Replying to a query, Sitaram said he had not yet decided on his political future.
