Former CBI JD Laxminarayana denies entering politics

Former CBI Joint Director and Thane Joint Commissioner of Police V.V.Laxminarayana denied entering politics, leaving his 12 years of service in IPS. Recently, there was speculations that he might join either AAP or BJP.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, he denied entering politics and said that all those were mere speculations.  

However reports have also indicated that some of his close aides are persuading him to join BJP.

Laxminarayana is an IPS officer belonging to Maharashtra cadre, and he originally belongs to Kurnool district.

After his stint in the Hyderabad unit of CBI, he went back to his parent cadre and was appointed Thane's Joint Commissioner of Police recently.
