Former AP Governor Narayan Dutt Tiwari Critical
Senior Congress leader and former AP Governor Narayan Dutt Tiwari's health condition is said to be critical. Tiwari, 91, has been admitted to the Max Super Specialty hospital in Delhi on October 26 with complaints of high fever and pneumonia. He has been kept in the Intensive Care Unit ever since. His family members said that Tiwari has been put on ventilator.
Narayan Dutt Tiwari, a freedom fighter, has the unique distinction of working as the chief minister of two states. He was chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and then became the chief minister of Uttaranchal after the hill state was carved. He also officiated as Andhra Pradesh Governor.
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and former Uttaranchal chief minister Vijay Bahuguna have enquired about Tiwari's health.
