Forget 2050, Chandrababu Has Taken The State Back By Several Decades: YS Jagan
Banaganapalle: AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has made the state backward by several decades but he continues to make false promises about developing the state by 2022, 2029 and 2050 and so on, Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.
Addressing a massive crowd in the town on Sunday, the YSRCP president said that the chief minister is already 70 years old and continues to mislead the people with promises and dreams that are not practical. "How can he speak about 2050 and competing with other countries when his four-year report card shows failures and unkept promises," YS Jagan asked the people.
"He will be 80 years old by 2029 and speaks about achieving welfare schemes and developing the state after 10 years. Such people are generally termed insane. He cannot list out his government's achievements or welfare programmes that were implemented in four years," he added.
Chandrababu's only achievements in the past couple of years are increasing the debt burden of the state, driving the farmers into penury, taking away fees meant for students, removing successful health schemes such as Aarogyasri and inability to implement welfare programmes for women - YS Jagan highlighted to the huge gathering amid cheers.
He called on the people of Banaganapalle to stay united and oust the government that failed to implement any welfare programme for them. In this regard, the YSRCP chief reminded them about the 'Navaratnas' announced by him at the public meeting in Guntur. "The YSRCP is committed to implement the Navaratnas and ensure that every child is sent to school and financial assistance is provided to women and students," he added.
