Forest Personnel Sexually Assault Tribal Woman

Tadvai (Telangana): A tribal woman who went to a forest to get Mahua flowers was sexually assulted by two forest officers at a base camp in Tadvai in Jayashankar district. As per reports, Somidi Sodi (17), Bhimam (22) and another woman went into forest to collect Mahua flowers, who were chased by the forest officials - Santosh, Vijay. The offenders caught hold of a woman and then sexually assaulted her while the other two women escaped from their clutches.

They then informed the matter to the elders in their community. The parents of the victim then lodged a complaint at Tadvai station on Saturday morning.
