Foot board travel proves fatal for cop

An overcrowded RTC bus led to death of a circle inspector (CI) as he accidentally slipped from its foot board at Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) in Secunderabad on Wednesday.

The victim was identified as Tirupathi Rao (54) and he died after slipping from the moving bus.
According to reports, death was instantaneous as he came under the rear wheel of the bus. The bus, belongs to Karimnagar depot, was moving to Karimnagar. A case was registered under 304-A (causing death by rash or negligent act under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
