'Fire' over water: Women stun Paritala Sunitha

Civil supplies minister Paritala Sunitha tasted the ire of women for the first time.

Paritala Sunitha participated in the 'Janabhoomi-Mavuru' meeting at the Srikanakadasa Kalyana mandap at Atmakuru in Anantapur district.

She was confronted a group of women, who vent their ire over the the acute shortage of drinking water . Raising slogans against the TDP government, several women squatted in front of the minister showing the empty vessels.
This left a sour taste in Paritala Sunitha's mouth.

The minister assured the women her government will soon solve their problems, but to no avail.

Not satisfied with the minister's assurances, the women corned her.
According to reports, heated arguments exchanged when the police tried to push the women agitators.
