Fire breaks out in Lakme Salon in Begumpet

A major fire broke out  in a shopping complex opposite Shoppers Stop building, Begumpet in Hyderabad on Monday morning. 

According to reports, Lakme Salon located in the third floor of the building, caught fire. No casualties have been reported, but financial loss seems to be immense.

People in adjacent building were also evacuated as a preventive measure. Six fire engines have been pressed into service to douse the fire. Reportedly, short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire.

The fire, and presence of six fire tenders caused a major traffic jam in Begumpet.
