Film Review: Pitta Goda

The film is about four good-for-nothing guys - Sakshi Post

Film Review: Pitta Goda

Cast: Vishwadev Rachakonda, Punarnavi Bhupalam

Music: Pranam Kamalakar

Cinematography: Uday.

Story, producer: Rammohan P

Dialogues, direction: Anudeep KV

Pitta Goda has lot of promise, but fails in performance. The film promised to become another Pelli Choopulu, but ended up as a weakly scripted film with lot of loose ends that the director never cared to tie up.

The film is about four good-for-nothing guys and one of them (Visvadev) falls for Divya (Punarnavi). How they end up coming together and the villains they meet along way form the film's story.

This is a small budget film with largely unknown faces. For such films to click, the storyline has to be strong and the taking has to be really good. But, after a promising first half, the film dithers and loses its way. It ends up with a tame climax and along the way, the film has lot of incogruities.

But, to be fail, despite being new comers, the actors give a good account of themselves. The performances are convincing. The cinematography is eye-pleasing and the music is soft on ears. The director could definitely have done a better job. Due to this the film gives high hopes and leaves sour taste at the end.

Positives:

Music, cinematography

Acting

Comedy in the first half

Negatives:

Jarring second half.

Weak screenplay

Verdict: Watch it for the first half.
