Feel regret about yesterday's incident: Lagadapati Rajagopal

Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Friday expressed grief over the pepper spray incident that has caught the nation's attention.

On Thursday, Rajagopal used pepper spray in the Lok Sabha, protesting against the tabling of Telangana Bill.  He alleged that Congress High Command was responsible for the incident. "I went into Well to protect a MP from other state from Congress MPs," said the MP.  He reiterated that his intention was not to hurt anyone. 

Rajagopal criticising Congress leaders said, "Some MPs attacked us with the support of Congress High Command. They also manhandled us. I used pepper spray only for self protection and to create peaceful environment."

He added "I felt guilty about yesterday's incident."
