Fashion designer, film maker in ugly spat

Censor Board member and fashion designer Manga Reddy and upcoming film maker Sharat Kumar were involved in a bloody public spat on Friday. Manga Reddy and her friend Kishan thrashed Sharat with iron rod and he suffered grievous head injuries. According to Sharat, she even cut his hair.
Manga Reddy alleged that Sharat was sending her indecent messages and was making uncharitable comments about women’s dresses. “When I tried to counter him, he attacked me and tried to pull my dress. In self defence, I pushed him back. He fell down on an air cooler and suffered head injuries,” she said. She added that Sharat was fully drunk.
Meanwhile, Sharat lodged a complaint with the Madhapur police.
