Farhana Not A Mere Cook, But Nayeem’s Shadow 

Hyderabad: Astonishing facts came to light during the SIT interrogation of Farhana, 30, in connection with slain gangster Nayeem. Farhana told the police that she was a cook in Nayeem’s house. But, later police officials came to know that Farhana was nothing, but a close shadow of Nayeem as every transaction was routed through her only. Nayeem used to call her with a petname ‘Coconut.’

Police after interrogating Farhana and other close associates of Nayeem, came to know that she was behind every movement of the slain gangster. Nayeem’s guest house in Goa under Panda Thana police limits is registered on Farhana’s name. Tajuddin, watchman at the guest house, revealed this fact. He said not even a deal of rupee was done without Farhana knowing.

Nayeem frequently visited Goa along with his wife Sadita Begum, but most of the times with Farhana. He also took Sada, Kareena, Jeba and other girls on Goa tour. Nayeem handled several settlements from Goa base. Farhana was monitoring every transaction, while Tajuddin used to carry a box containing of several SIM cards and mobile phone devices. Now, Farhana and Nayeem’s wife Sadita are in women’s central jail, while Tajuddin is in Chanchalguda jail.

Nayeem’s nephew Faheem was another key associate of slain Nayeem. As the list of settlements was increasing by the day, Nayeem used to allocate most of the deals to Faheem. The gangster would intervene if Faheem fails to close the deals.

Police further said that after the interrogation, they came to know that a number of criminals worked directly under Faheem, who used Sridhar Goud’s house in Tuljabhavani colony, Injapur gram panchayati purview, for settlement activities.

Police officials revealed the names of those who worked closely with Faheem. The list includes Sridhar Goud, Sudhakar, Venkatesh, Sridhar Raju, Karunakar, Srinu and Balaram worked under Faheem. Sridhar and Balarm were remanded for 14 days. Rest of them are absconding. All these persons were classmates at a school in Samsthan Narayanapur in Nalgonda district.

Karimnagar victims of ASI Mohan Reddy

ASI Mohan Reddy from Karimnagar has close relations with gangster Nayeem and resorted to several land settlements in the town, according to Mahendar Reddy, President, Association of Mohan Reddy’s victims.

Mohan Reddy committed several offenses using Nayeem’s muscle power in Nagunur, Padmanagar, LMD, etc in Karimnagar, they said. The association will lodge a complaint with SIT on Saturday.

“Mohan Reddy has occupied lands mostly belong to Dalits. We’ll also take it to SC, ST Commission,” said Reddy. CPI and Loksatta also extended support to the victims of Mohan Reddy.
