Fake tea powder unit raided in Kakinada

The vigilance officials on Wednesday raided a factory which was producing spurious tea powder at Balabhadrapuram in Biccavole mandal of East Godavari district.
The officials conducted raids on the complaint that the tea powder was adulterated with powders of tamarind seed and saw dust. A case has been registered against the factory management. There was galore of complains that the health of the people was under threat after consuming tea with spurious powders.
