Fake doctor arrested in Hyderabad

  Police on Tuesday, arrested Venkata Ramana, a fake doctor who was cheating  innocent people.  Chikkadapalli police have arrested Sikkonda Venkata Ramana alias Arella Venkata Ramana (48) and are now searching for his wife, who is absconding.

As per reports,  Ramana would set up his clinics in various places in the city by pretending to be a doctor, but he didn't have the necessary credentials. 

Reportedly, Ramana is married twice, he divorced his first wife, but didn't give her alimony.  Further, he created forged documents to sell his car to a resident of Chikkadapalli, Tota Ramaiah.   Based on the complaint of Ramaiah, the police registered a cheating case on Ramana and his second wife Kalpana.

Ramana changed his clinics frequently whenever medical officials would raid his clinics.  He would start clinics at Rahamatnagar and Yousufguda areas in the city. When DMHO Narendrudu raided his clinic in the area, Ramana closed it immediately.

DMHO had issued notices to Ramana to show all his certificates by March 16. Ramana failed to comply.
