Fake Babas Arrested For Duping People

Chapadu (YSR Kadapa): Two conmen were arrested, on Wednesday, for posing as priests and selling fake figurines.

The Chapadu police said that the two men were held while trying to selling fake precious metal figurines for Rs 1,200 and Rs 2,000. They were identified as Mote Kuruvaiah and Mote Pedda Moula Ali, a father-son duo and natives of Magenenipalli in Rudravaram mandal of Kurnool district.

Following complaints from devotees that the two were selling fake figurines and duping the people, police arrested them and launched an investigation.
