After He Failed To Answer A Question In Weekly Test, Class IX Boy Commits Suicide

Hyderabad: A Class 9 boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan after he failed to answer a question in a weekly test conducted at a school in Marredpally on Thursday. The incident came to light on Friday when the family members found him hanging in his room.
The boy Mani Nihal(13) was studying Class 9 in St. Patricks School in Regimental Bazaar, Secunderabad. On Tuesday, his class teacher conducted a weekly test where he failed to answer a question. Thinking that he might lose his top rank, the boy took the extreme step on Thursday night when his family was out for some work. The family came to know about Nihal's suicide after they returned home on Friday.
They shifted him to a hospital where doctors declared him dead. The police registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
