Facebook Friend Molests Girl In Prashanth Theatre Secunderabad

Facebook friendship claimed yet another victim a few days ago. The offender, 23 year-old Bikshapati, befriended the 19 year-old victim on Facebook and invited her to watch a film in a theatre here. He took the opportunity to allegedly rape her. The incident occurred on January 29, but came to light only today.

According to the police, the accused has been identified as Bikshapati, resident of Nermetta village in Jangam district and works as JCB driver. The victim has completed her Intermediate and lives in Secunderabad. Bikshapati became her Facebook friend two months ago. He began frequenting Jagadgirigutta, where his sister lives and on two occasions, met the victim.

According to the police,they both met on January 28 and went out. They also met the next day, went to Indira Park and in the afternoon came to watch a film in Prashanth theatre near Passport Office in Secunderabad. There were only 70 people in the hall, and taking advantage of the situation, the accused is believed to have raped the victim in the theatre.

The girl informed her parents about the incident, and they in turn, complained to the police.
