Ex-TDP MP arrested, released

The Khanapur police on Monday arrested former Adilabad MP and TDP Politburo member Ramesh Rathod with a case pertaining to the alleged attack on Khanapur TRS MLA A. Rekha Naik's gunman.
According to reports, the TDP leader manhandled the gunman at a hospital two days ago. A case under sections 353, 323 and 186 of the IPC has been registered against Ramesh Rathod. He was arrested and produced before the Nirmal court. The court granted him bail.
