Ex-MLA Quits BJP in Mahbubnagar

Mahbubnagar: Ex-MLA Yennem Srinivas Reddy resigned from BJP on Monday.He had been keeping himself away from the party for some time due to differences with the state BJP president Kishan Reddy and finally he announced his resignation. Speaking on the occasion, he said both Congress and BJP have failed to play their role as effective opposition parties in the state and added that he will announce his future course of action soon.

Reddy was elected as MLA on BJP ticket in a by-election following the death of Rajeshwar Reddy in 2012, but lost to the TRS candidate V. Srinivas Goud in 2014.
