EX APCC chief eyeing Telangana PCC chief post?


Former APCC president D Srinivas on Wednesday, expressed a desire to be made the new PCC chief post Telangana formation. 

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Srinivas said that he was ready to take up the post of PCC chief if Congress High Command directs him to do so.

Stating that TJAC holds Congress in high regards for helping realise the dream of Telangana, he hinted that doors are opened for them to contest in the elections on behalf of Congress.

In spite of the war of words between Congress members, senior leaders and KCR, Srinivas added that if TRS was willing to go in for poll alliance with Congress, the latter will not object. 

He claimed that there are strong leaders in Congress too and irrespective of alliance with the TRS, Congress would get at least 16 Lok Sabha seats and 80 Assembly seats.
