Even a 100 cases will not deter me: MP Mithun Reddy

Nellore: The YSRCP MP from Rajampeta, Peddireddy Mithun Reddy on Friday alleged that the TDP government was foisting false cases on him as he was fighting for the people; and added that he would not be afraid even if a hundred cases are slapped against him. He was addressing the media along with YSRCP leaders here on Friday.

When false cases are being slapped against peoples' representatives, what would be the plight of a normal citizen, he questioned. The government is wielding its power in a high handed manner, he criticised and added that the YSRCP will always work for the welfare of the people.

He deplored that even when a woman government officer was assaulted by the TDP leaders there was no one to question them. He demanded that if the government had any evidence against him they should lay it out.

The police had earlier arrested Mithun Reddy and the party in-charge of Kalahasti, Madhusudhan Reddy on the 17th of January with regards to the alleged attacking of the Air India manager in Renigunta Airport and moved them to the Nellore jail. On Wednesday the Tirupathi Fifth Additional District Judge had issued a conditional bail to them, and they were released on Thursday evening.
