Balakrishna’s Wife PA Arrested For Forging Sign
HYDERABAD: Acting upon a forgery complaint against personal assistant of Hindupur MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's wife Vasundhara, Jubilee Hills police arrested K Shiva, on Monday, February 18 and produced him before the court.
According to reports, K Shiva had recently joined as a personal assistant for Vasundhara. He had allegedly forged Vasundhara's signature to activate his mobile banking facility for her account, without her knowledge.
He even submitted an application form in HDFC Bank for activation of the mobile banking feature.
As part of normal inquiry before activation, the managers of HDFC Bank's Banjara Hills branch, contacted Vasundhara's representative, V Subba Rao, on February 13 about the application for activating mobile banking feature.
Rao told bank officials that they had not applied for mobile banking. They immediately called Shiva and inquired about the matter after which Shiva was confronted about submitting the application at the bank.
Subba Rao approached the police and lodged a complaint in Jubilee Hills police station. Police filed a forgery case against Shiva under Sections 420, 467,468,471 r/w 511 of the Indian Penal Code. The police had arrested Shiva on Monday.
