Prabhas’ Biggest FLOPS Made More Money Than Other Heroes’ HITS  

Rebel star Prabhas is one of the most popular stars of Tollywood whose popularity has soared into success, thanks to his impeccable acting and cool attitude. Prabhas enjoys a massive fan following across the globe.

The handsome actor definitely doesn't need any introduction. Prabhas is not only an established actor in Telugu but he is a pan Indian sensation.

He last appeared in 'Saaho' which was in the news for a longer time. As soon as it got released in multiple languages, the film faced rejection at the ticket windows and earned poor ratings from critics. The film made with a budget of Rs 300 Cr. Can anyone guess, how much it earned in return at the box office?

Probably, this could be the reason why 'Saaho' failed to survive at the box office. Totally, it is not about the star cast and we can purely blame it on the content. Content is a money-spinner be it for filmmakers or actors.

People have had huge expectations for Prabhas. It was his first movie after 'Baahubali' franchise. Everyone thought, he would once again impress everyone with 'Saaho'. Sadly, the film couldn't live up to people's expectations.As far as the film result, 'Saaho' is being termed as the biggest flop of this year.

But, we don't think, the box office collections of 'Saaho' would declare it as a flop. Because 'Saaho' earned a lifetime collection of Rs 433.06 Cr.

A bunch of films released in Telugu and Hindi but none of them touched 'Saaho' the range at which Saaho did, business-wise. Otherwise, as we said in the start, Saaho could at best be termed ‘not-up to-the-mark-for-a-Prabhas-starrer’. But it is higher than that of other Tollywood superstars’ hits.

Talking about Telugu films, 'Maharshi' and 'Sye Raa' were the biggest releases of this year. Both films were a profitable venture at the box office. When it comes to earnings 'Sye Raa' collected Rs 142.85 Crore and Maharshi Rs 200 Cr gross at the worldwide box office.
