Sizzling actress Rashi Khanna stepped into Tollywood horizon with the film Oohalu Gusagusalade in 2014. The film proved to be unsuccessful at the box office though it was well made movie by actor/director Srinivas Avasarala. However, she remained undeterred and continued working on films both in Telugu and Tamil.

She earned praise for her performance in 'Bengal Tiger' which starred Ravi Teja in the lead role. With her back to back films, Supreme, Hyper and a few others helped her to prove her mettle and climb up the ladder.

It was revealed by Rashi Khanna that she had shocked Jr NTR during Jai Lava Kusa movie shoot where she acted on par with Jr NTR. She went to filmmakers and asked them as to why they were giving all the unique and hard steps to Jr NTR. She demanded that she too be given equal steps to match up with him. This demand is said to have shocked Jr NTR. Rashi Khanna revealed this piece of information during her movie promotions of her new film 'Prati Roju Panduga'.
