Thalapathy Fans Tadaka In Krishnagiri After Bigil Preview Screening Cancelled
Vijay's starrer 'Bigil' is one of the most anticipated films of the year has finally hit the screens. The film opened to a massive response from all quarters. The trailer and the songs also received a massive response, which only added more weight age to the film's promotions.
Bigil also features Jackie Shroff, Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek in crucial roles. It is for the third time Vijay has collaborated with Atlee for 'Bigil'.
It is a known fact that Vijay has huge fan following in different parts of the country. If there is any new release from Thalapathi Vijay it is nothing short of a festival for his fans in Tamil Nadu.
His fans that were waiting expectantly for the first show were disappointed, as it was not screened. Frenzied fans created a ruckus in front of a private theatre in Krishnagiri area near Chennai for not screening special fan preview shows. They even broke barricades, which were placed, in front of the theatres. Dozens of shop banners, vehicles were destroyed, as hundreds of youths rioted through the night as the theatre refused to hold the special fan screening.
Police rushed to the spot and tried to disperse the angry fans. However, they didnt pay heed and continued to stage protests. Eventually the police had to resort to lathi charge and disperse the irate fans.Thirty two fans were taken into custody by the Krishnagiri Police with the help of CCTV footage taken from near the theatre.
