Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ Release Date Postponed?

Director SS Rajamouli who helmed films like Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is busy with his next film 'RRR'. It is one of the most anticipated films for the coming year. Fans have been counting the days for its release since its inception.

The film went on floors last year in December and given the fact that filmmaker SS Rajamouli is behind the lens, needless to say that the film will have massive and larger-than-life sets. Rajamouli made an official statement that 'RRR' will release on July 30, 2020.

According to sources, 'RRR' has been delayed for various reasons and Rajamouli is expected to wrap up the shoot by July next year. But , apparently, the film may not release on promised date. Latest we hear is the makers of 'RRR' is believed to be thinking of shifting the release date of the film.

If reports are to go anything by 'RRR' is likely to be released for Sankranthi 2021 or Summer 2021 depending upon the release schedules of Bollywood biggies. Rajamouli may choose a perfect date for 'RRR' release, as it should not clash with any Hindi big-ticket films . This was after witnessing the response for Sye Raa in its clash against the Hirthik Roshan - Tiger Shroff's War movie. Although, it is not official confirmed from makers end about pushing the film to next year,an official confirmation regarding this news is awaited.

RRR is made on a humongous budget of Rs 350-400 crores, and the film will display the grandeur set up like Baahubali. Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan will appear in prime roles.
