Prabhas Saaho Recovers 80% In Collections Despite Poor Ratings
Prabhas starrer 'Saaho' had a thunderous opening at the box office when it was released worldwide on August 30. Despite heavy competition with new releases, 'Saaho' is still running successfully in theatres.
The Hindi version of 'Saaho' has managed to earn Rs 150 Crore at the box office.
Earlier 'Saaho' had received poor reviews from critics and audiences ever since the first show of the film. However, looks like reviews did not seem to have had an impact on the film's box office performance.
According to sources, 'Saaho' was able to recover 80 per cent of their investment with poor ratings.
It was directed by Sujeeth also featured Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh among others are seen in key roles.
A while back, there was a report that Prabhas is planning to shelve 'Jaan' movie and start a new project. An official confirmation about his new project will be announced soon. The regular shoot of his new film is expected to commence after November
.It is said that 'Saaho's results has disappointed the audiences, that's why Prabhas has stalled 'Jaan' shoot for a few months.“Jaanu” will also be shot in Hindi and Telugu separately. It seems that the Hindi market has become crucial for Prabhas stint in movies apart from the Telugu and Tamil industries.
