Sujeeth Clears The Air On Saaho Plagiariasm
Prabhas latest offering 'Saaho' is on a record-breaking spree and was released last week. Sadly, the film failed to live up to the hype which was created through its posters and trailers. 'Saaho' gained negative talk since its first show but managed to earn huge bucks at the box office. All thanks to Prabhas’ pan indian stardom.
There were reports that 'Saaho’s' plot was inspired by the French film, Largo Winch. Even the original film's director alleged the same. Finally, Director of 'Saaho' Sujeeth opened up about the allegations. He said a leading tabloid, "To be honest, I didn't watch Laro Winch. I just changed the story of earlier film Run Raja Run and made it Saaho. Many films came up with the plot of hero avenging his father's death by coming in from an exile. Are all of them are lifted from Largo Winch?"
"Despite all the negativity, people are showering praises on Saaho. I have been getting calls from North Indian states like Bihar and people over there told me that they would've constructed a temple for me if I was a Bihari. My concern is that our people are not encouraging when a Telugu director made a pan-Indian film. Anyways, I am happy with the way the audience is enjoying it and collection prove the same," added Sujeeth.
