Buzz: Nagarajuna To Compensate Distributors For Manmadhudu Disaster?

Akkineni Nagarjuna's recent outing Manmadhudu 2 has been pulled out of theatres. The movie faced rejection and ended as the biggest dud at the box office. According to sources, Nagarjuna is not the original producer of the film. But, he promoted the film as Annapurna Studios’s production. He co-produced it with Gemini Kiran, Geetha (who bought the remake rights of the French Movie) and Viacom.

The film business was done as if it was a solo production of Annapurna studios. Now, it has become a huge responsibility for Nagarjuna to deal with the losses of Manmadhudu 2.

The distributors of Manmadhudu 2 are believed to have suffered more than 60 per cent losses on their investment. Nagarjuna is planning to compensate for the losses incurred by the movie to the distributors, it is learnt.
