How Much Did Prabhas Charge For Saaho?  

Rebel star Prabhas will soon be back on the big screen with 'Saaho' after the unprecedented success of 'Baahubali' popular franchise, the biggest Indian blockbuster hit.'Saaho' is one of the most awaited films. Why not? Because Prabhas is going to be seen in the lead role and the film is made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 Crore. Fans are dying to see Prabhas perform high octane action scenes in 'Saaho' on the big screen. According to reports, 'Saaho' theatrical rights in AP and Nizam region have been sold for a whopping amount Rs 125 Crore.

There was a buzz on social media about the paycheck of Prabhas for 'Saaho'. It is being said that the actor has been paid Rs 100 Cr for the film. During 'Saaho' promotions, Prabhas was asked about his fee for the movie.He has been quoted saying, “Baahubali has set the bar high, but Saaho was a Rs 250 crore film so I knew I couldn’t charge my usual remuneration. I started out with a 20 per cent cut. Then, the film went slightly over and though my friends were ready to pay up, I couldn’t take their money knowing they were putting in so much without thinking of what they would earn.”

'Saaho' is written and directed by Sujeeth and will be releasing simultaneously in various languages. The film is slated for release on August 30 across the globe.
