Walt Disney's "The Lion King" is rocking at the Indian box office. The movie made Rs 81.57 crore in the first week itself and after that, the collection of the film has been consistent. So far the movie has earned Rs 143.96 crore in India market. The film has done better during the weekends. On Saturday and Sunday, it made Rs 4.45 crore, and Rs 5.67 crore, respectively.

The movie earned Rs 16.64 crore in the third week and bagged Rs 6.13Cr in its fourth week. With its fourth week collections, the movie entered into Rs 150Cr club.

Since it hit the theatres about three weeks ago, it received a great response from the audience.

Directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Karen Gilchrist, Jeffrey Silver, and Jon Favreau, the movie is based on an animal kingdom. The story of the young lion Simba; who is the rightful successor of his father, Mufasa, as the King of the Pride Lands; has won over the children.

Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan gave their vocals to Mufasa and Simba Characters respectively in Hindi.

P Ravi Shanker and Natural Star Nani gave their voices to Mufasa and Simba characters in its Telugu version.
