Mahesh Babu Rejected Film Accepted By Pan India Actor?
One of the sensational directors in Tollywood is none other than Puri Jagannadh. The maverick filmmaker is back on success track. His latest film 'iSmart Shankar' did mind-blowing business and earned more than Rs 75 Cr at the worldwide box office. It was rumoured that Puri Jagannadh would team up with Mahesh Babu for a film called Jana Gana Mana. It is being said that Mahesh Babu wasn't interested to do a film with him. Post 'iSmart Shankar' success, Puri Jagannadh in one of the interviews stated that "Mahesh Babu will work with only hit directors and he is least bothered about flops directors." Probably, these words hurt Mahesh Babu which made him reject the film.
Now, the latest Grapevine suggests that Yash who has become a pan indian actor with his last blockbuster hit 'KGF: Chapter-1' is being considered for the role. He is looking forward to joining hands with Puri Jagannadh. The 'iSmart Shankar' director is believed to have narrated the script of Jana Gana Mana to Yash. Loud whispers are making the rounds that Yash has okayed Puri Jagannadh’s Jana Gana Mana script. Now, Yash has accepted a script which was rejected by Mahesh Babu,it is learned.
On the career front, Mahesh Babu is busy with 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' while Yash will next be seen in 'KGF: Chapter-2' which is shaping up well.
