Vijay Devarakonda Responds To Criticism On Dear Comrade

Vijay Devarakonda - Sakshi Post

Dear Comrade hit the screens on Friday with Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandana in the lead roles. It was released simultaneously in four south Indian languages. The film garnered good collections on the very first day. However, there are mixed reviews about the movie. Some who have already watched the movie opined that the pace of movie is slow, while others said the film has a weak screenplay.

Responding to the deluge of reviews from all south Indian states where the movie is currently screening, Devarakonda in his recent press meet said: "We have done everything at our command to take the film to public. We haven't left a small thing to chance, and we worked hard. Since the film is released, there has been variety of reviews. Some of them are saying that the film is slow. I respect their opinion. But movies such as ‘Dear Comrade’ have to be watched patiently. I am sure, then, you will like it."

Notwithstanding the reviews, it is extremely heartening to know that people are turning up in hordes to watch the movie on the very first day in all four languages, he added.
