iSmart Shankar Record Collections In Nizam, Distributor Eyes Profit

Ram Pothineni starrer 'iSmart Shankar' is busting all records at the box office. It was released last week and has gathered positive response from all quarters. Critics and audiences alike have showered Ram with praises for his performance in the film. As of now, 'iSmartShankar' is not facing any competition from other films. The movie is left without only five days to earn the bigger bucks.

This week, the much-awaited Vijay Deverakonda's 'Dear Comrade' is slated for release, which could eat into the business of 'iSmartShankar' at the ticket windows.

If trade sources are to believed 'iSmartShankar' has created a sensational record in Nizam area. Yes, what you read is right. The Nizam distributors have acquired the rights of 'iSmartShankar' for a whopping amount of Rs 6.5 Cr and have recovered 50% per cent of their investment.

So far, the film has collected Rs 3.35 Cr share. It is being said 'iSmartShankar' did the business of Rs 10 Cr approximately by opening weekend at the box office. The total business of the film could be more than Rs 40 Cr. Official figures are yet to be known.

'iSmartShankar' is directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Charmee Kaur.
