Is iSmart Shankar Copied?

Hyderabad: iSmart Shankar has been doing fairly well at the box office. But now there seems to be a problem that they have gotten themselves into. They are being critisiced by some for allegedly copying the concept of the story from many sources.

Yesteryear actor of ‘Anandam’ fame Akash has come out and spoken out about the story of iSmart Shankar being originally his. He also says that the movie is similar to the Tanmil Movie ‘Nan Yaar’ which was directed by Director Radha. In Tamil, and there were plans of the movie to be brought out in Telugu as well. But that dosent seem to be possible now a movie xeroxing the same concept has already been launched out there.

He has said that he has been trying to contact Puri Jagnaadh but has not been getting any communication back from him. He said that if Puri does not respond to him on time, he will take it upon himself to go the producers council.
