Was Mahesh Responsible For Sarileru Neekevvaru Director’s Decision?

Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming film 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' which is shaping up well. Mahesh and team are in Kashmir canning some important scenes in exotic locations. For the first time, Mahesh Babu will be seen essaying the role of an Army Officer.

But, the name of his character in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' has a connection with his path-breaking movie 'Pokiri'. Not only, Mahesh Babu, even trade circles will feel happy and proud if ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ shatters the records of Pokiri.

As we said earlier, Jagapathi Babu has walked out of the project even before the shoot. The grapevine suggests that it was Mahesh Babu's idea to lean towards his old friend Prakash Raj in replacing Jagapathi Babu's role. According to reports, the makers are erecting the set of a village in Ramoji Film City at an estimated cost of approximately Rs 3 Cr.

The film will be directed by Anil Ravipudi and is being backed up by Mahesh Babu, Dil Raju and Anil Sunkara. Watch this space for more updates.
