Maharshi 24 Days Collections: Mahesh Babu Flick Continues To Be The First Choice  

Superstar Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi' is setting cash registers ringing at the box office ever since it opened in theatres. Mahesh Babu has become the talk of the town for many reasons. If you may observe, the day doesn't end without Mahesh Babu being in the news because he is the highest paid actor in Tollywood. 'Maharshi' is doing unbelievable business at the box office. Mahesh Babu and the team of 'Maharshi' are happy and overjoyed for the super success of the film.

The movie earned mixed reviews from critics and audience but it is being considered widely as a success at the box office. 'Maharshi' is learned to have crossed the Rs 100 Cr share mark at the worldwide box office.

The total gross of 'Maharshi' is believed to have touched Rs 180 Cr. Mahesh Babu fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to reach Rs 200 Cr gross mark by end of its run. It is expected to have a long run because there are no big films lined up to hit the screens.

Trade analysts predicted that Suriya's recently released 'NGK' would dominate Maharshi at the box office. Sadly, it has met with mixed reviews in Telugu states. Once again 'Maharshi' has become the first choice for moviegoers.

This weekend, Maharshi did an outstanding business managing to earn Rs 2.1 Cr on its 24th day at the box office. The world share is expected to above Rs 4 Cr.

Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Allari Naresh earned praise for his role in 'Maharshi' from several quarters. Mahesh Babu who has taken a long vacation to foreign countries will be back to work in the third week of this month for the shoot of his next, 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' which will be directed by Anil Ravipudi.
