Maharshi Breaks Atharintiki Daredhi Record: Mahesh Ahead Of Pawan

Superstar Mahesh Babu and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan are the biggest stars in Telugu film industry. They enjoy a huge fan base across the world. Most of the audiences would love to see them sharing screen space together. We don't know whether the idea of working together has ever crossed the mind for Mahesh or Pawan. Mahesh's 'Maharshi' was the biggest south Indian release last week. It has joined Rs 100 Cr club in just four days at the box office.

That's not at all, 'Maharshi' has surpassed a lot of Telugu film records at the box office. Looks like Mahesh Babu who has been in the industry for the past 20 years knows the pulse of audiences. 'Maharshi' has been directed by Vamsi Paidipally of Oopiri fame.

'Maharshi' has created a new record in the Nizam area. It has bagged the fourth position with a new record in the Nizam region. Going into the reports, Prabhas starrer Baahubali-The Beginning earned Rs 68 Cr, Baahubali-The Conclusion collected Rs 42 Cr, Ram Charan's Rangasthalam made Rs 27 Cr. Now, 'Maharshi' has collected Rs 25.40 Cr dethroning Pawan Kalyan's 'Atharainitki Daredi' record of Rs 23.45 Cr. In this context, Mahesh Babu is ahead of Pawan Kalyan.

According to sources, 'Maharshi' would stream on Amazon Prime Video in the first week of August. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the movie also stars Allari Naresh, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu among others in key roles.
