Student of the Year 2 hit the theaters on May 10. With a new batch of students - Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria, the movie created a lot of buzz. Producer Karan Johar introduced two fresh faces - Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria with the Student of the Year sequel.

However, the movie garnered mixed reviews from the critics and the audience as well. While some appreciated Ananya Pandey and Punit Malhotra, others loved Tiger Shroff in SOTY 2 but many didn't share any warm reviews for the movie.

Even though the movie is not doing huge business at the box-office, Karan Johar has been busy sharing the collections on his social media handles. With the movie completing a week in the theatres, he shared a post mentioning SOTY 2 as a Summertime Hit, which resulted in triggering a wide-spread reaction from the Netizens, who brutally trolled the producer.

Made on a budget of around 70-80 cr (as per Wikipedia) this film under performed on BO. U r advertising that its a huge hit to attract people to theatres but unfortunately we have other good options than wasting money and time over this ?.
