Buzz: Maharshi Is Sequel To Srimanthudu?  

Superstar Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi' is his 25th film. His fans were highly waiting for the film for a long time. The makers of the film are not leaving any stone unturned to promote the film and they are making sure to create the buzz amongst the audiences. They are teasing the movie buffs and fans by releasing posters and songs on social media.

So far, all of them have received mixed reviews from one and all. Yesterday, they released 'Padara Padara' song from Maharshi which is trending on social media and is being lapped up by all music lovers.

If one were to go by the buzz created by the recently released poster that was dropped on the internet by the makers, then Maharshi seems to share similarities with Mahesh Babu's movie Srimanthudu, which released in 2015. A section of the audiences is considering 'Maharshi' to be a sequel to Srimanthudu. Apparently, it may not because 'Maharshi' is altogether different from Srimanthudu. 'Maharshi' is a tale about friendship and love with Mahesh Babu to be seen in multiple avatars. Hence, 'Maharshi' can't be a sequel to 'Srimanthudu'. Mahesh Babu is so confident about the film that he jetted off to Paris with his family.

'Maharshi' is directed by Vamsi Paidipally which is poised to release on May 9 in worldwide theatres. Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh would be seen in prominent roles.
