Tollywood Celebrities Greet Fans On Ugadi

Hyderabad: On the auspicious day of Ugadi, which marks the beginning of a new year and the arrival of the spring season, there is a celebratory mood across the South India states. Popularly celebrated in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the festival marks the first day in the Hindu lunisolar calendar.
On the day, people wear new clothes, make rangolis and decorate their house entrances with mango leaves. The Hindu Gods Kartikeya and Ganesh are worshipped on this day.
Tollywood celebrities also extended their wishes and greeted their followers on Ugadi.
Bahubali star Prabhas extended his greetings on Ugadi. He will be next seen on 'Sahoo'.
Tollywood's heartthrob Mahesh Babu gave a special gift to his fans on the auspicious day of Ugadi. He released the teaser of his film 'Maharshi'.
