There's no denying that Rangasthalam which hit theatres last year was one of the massive hits in the Telugu Film Industry. The political thriller based in a rural backdrop featured Ram Charan as a partially impaired person. The mega power star received immense appreciation for his performance as Chitti Babu from fans and critics alike.

The box office collections of Rangasthalam were phenomenal to put it mildly and beat even big ticket releses like Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi directed by Trivikram which had created a lot of hype.

Ram Charan is now looking forward to his next titled RRR directed none other than Baahubali maker SS Rajamouli. Charan plays the role of the Telugu freedom fighter Alluri Sitharamaraju and shares screen space with his best buddy Jr NTR for the first time.
