Move Over Prakash Raj, Trivikram Ropes in Nana Patekar For Villain Opposite Bunny?
Director Trivikram Srinivas has worked with many Telugu actors including Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR, Nithiin, Mahesh Babu and several others. His last film was 'Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava' which starred Jr NTR in the lead role. The film was an absolute winner at the box office.
Last year, Trivikram’s next movie announced with Allu Arjun. The principal shooting of the film will commence in the mid-week of April. Currently, Trivikram is busy finalizing the rest of the cast and crew for the film. We have been hearing reports that Tabu is planning a comeback in movies with Allu Arjun's upcoming film. Tabu is likely to play a key role in the movie. However, an official confirmation about her being on board is yet to be made by the filmmakers.
It appears Trivikram is following the footprints of Baahubali director SS Rajamouli in choosing Bollywood actors to play key role. In a recently held press conference, Rajamouli introduced the full star cast for RRR—Alia Bhatt, Daisy Edger Jones and Ajay Devgn among others. It was speculated that Ajay Devgan could be seen in an antagonist role. However, the maverick filmmaker put speculation to rest by stating that he was not playing a negative role but his role would be powerful.
Back to the Trivikram movie, he is gointg all out to create a pan India appeal for his upcoming flick with Allu Arjun. Ongoing reports suggest that Nana Patekar name is under consideration to play the villain role in the Trivikram-Bunny's yet to be titled movie.
An official confirmation about his about inclusion is awaited. It appears our telugu filmmakers roping in Bollywood actors for strong characters is a sign of gate pass for seasoned actors like Prakash Raj now busy furthering political ambitions. Let's welcome other actors to the industry.
