Filmmaker Chooses Rana Over Prabhas For Anushka Movie

Rebel star Prabhas and Rana are soaring into heights after the massive hit of Baahubali. Before Baahubali, several movies of Prabhas and Rana were critically acclaimed and received a lot of love from viewers. Prabhas was seen as essaying the protagonist character named 'Amarendra Baahubali' while Rana was seen in an antagonist character 'Bhallaladeva'. Their performance in Baahubali is etched in audiences mind even till today. We are sure, the talk about Baahubali won't die anytime sooner.

Post Baahubali, Prabhas got busy with 'Saaho' which is shaping up well. Rana has been signed back to back projects in Telugu and Hindi. Sometime back, it was rumoured that Rana is gearing up to test waters in Hollywood while it hasn't been confirmed yet from him. Rana is busy shooting for 'Haathi Mera Saathi' which is being helmed by Prabhu Solomon. Reports claim that Rana has agreed to a cameo role for Anushka Shetty in her upcoming film ' Silence'. Rana’s cameo appearance in Anushka's 'Silence' has set tongues wagging on social media. Did filmmakers choose Rana Daggubati over Prabhas due to his hectic shooting schedules, who has been shuttling between 'Saaho' and 'Jaan'. Apparently, it could be so and Anushka’s fans are thrilled with the latest news of Rana’s presence in Anushka's 'Silence'.

As per the sources, 'Silence' team along with Anushka Shetty and Rana among others will be flying down to the US in March and shoot a major portion of the film there. It will be directed by Hemant Madhukar.
