Nani Injured On Jersey Sets

Natural star Nani is working around the clock to deliver his next movie on deadline. It is for the first time, Nani is trying his hand in a different genre. After playing a lover boy in Ninnu Kori and Nenu Local, Nani is all set to play a cricketer’s role in his next movie. He is busy with the shoot of his upcoming movie Jersey which is shaping up well in the scenic locales of Hyderabad,

According to reliable sources, Nani was injured on the film sets during the shoot. It is learnt that while the crew was canning a cricket match scence, Nani injured his nose. But there is nothing to worry as it is said to be a minor injury. After a short break, Nani resumed the shoot.

Jersey is helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri whose last film was Malli Raava which featured Sumanth in the lead role. The movie was loved by Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao. It was reported, KCR had asked Malli Raava team to send a copy of the film to him. It was a phenomenal hit at the box office. It's left to be seen what kind of interesting story he has in store next. Sitara Entertainments is the production house bankrolling the project. Shraddha Srinath is making her debut in Telugu and has been finalised as the female lead opposite Nani.
