Mr Majnu Opening Weekend Box Office Collections

Akhil's latest offering Mr Majnu is on a winning streak at the box office. The movie has received amazing reviews from critics and movie buffs. It is on its way to become a blockbuster hit at the box office. The film has not only set the cash register ringing at the ticket window since on opening day, but also left the producers laughing all the way to the bank. This would be the first blockbuster hit for Akhil in his career. Akhil can heave a sigh of relief. With time, Akhil too has also improved his acting skills. Akkineni fans are raving on twitter that about Akhil’s performance and hoping he continues his winning streak at the box office. After a few more film, the actor will no doubt become another saought-after Akkineni actor. Akkineni fans can't stop gushing about his performance in the movie.

If trade reports are to believed, the movie has opened with decent figures and went on to earn a whopping $52,355 and the gross collections of the movie stands at $181,042. The movie has remained strong in Telugu states where Akhil enjoys a huge base of loyal fans.

Mr Majnu is directed by Venky Atluri and it is believed to that director waited for Akhil for two years to cast in this movie as he thought he wanted a young face best suited to pull off the role of a casanova. It is learnt that Venky narrated Mr Majnu script to Akhil at the time of the actor’s debut but the latter reportedly requested him to wait or either proceed with another actor. The director who knew the potential of Akhil put the script on hold and finally made the movie with Akhil. Nidhhi Agerwal is seen playing Akhil’s love interest in the movie.
