F2 Beats Geetha Govindam Box Office Record

Victory Venkatesh's latest offering F2 is having a dream run at the box office. The film is on a record making spree breaking records set by previous movies right, left and centre. The movie is the first commercial hit of 2019. It is a medium budget movie but turned out to be the highest grossing film. F2 has recorded massive collections at the box office. The movie has managed to cross collections of Vijay Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam which was the blockbuster of 2018. This is no mean feat for F2 as Geetha Govindam garnered a lot of praise from the audience. Now, F2 has managed to outshine Vinaya Vidheya Rama and NTR Kathanyakudu which also released around Sankranti.

The movie is racing towards touching the $2 million mark at the American box office. F2 is minting profits at the box office. The distributor share of the movie is said to be Rs 68.90 Crores in its second weekend which has made its collection surpass Deverakonda record. F2 doesn't have competition from new releases.

Varun Tej, Tamannah and Mehreen play key characters in the movie. F2 is directed by Anil Ravipudi who is working on a sequel to the movie and reports claim that he has approached Ravi Tej to play the lead role in the movie. The actor-director had earlier collaborated for Raja The Great.
