Petta Second Day Box Office Collections

Superstar Rajinikanth must be in a happy space as his latest movie has been received with opened arms by the audiences. His fans are over the moon to see him on the silver screen. The back to back success of his movies 2.O and now his latest outing Petta. On January 10, Petta hit theatres worldwide in over 2000 screens. Captain of the ship Karthik Subbaraj is basking in the success of the movie. Petta is ruling the roost in Chennai. Looking at the current scenario, Petta could easily join the Rs 100 cr club in the opening weekend itself. We have been hearing positive reviews about Petta from all quarters. Looks like the film will achieve the feat within a day.

Petta and Viswasam are facing neck-to-neck competition at the box office. In most of the areas especially in foreign countries, Petta is leading ahead of Viswasam. According to film critic Ramesh Bala, Petta has managed to rake in only Rs 2.20 Crs at the Chennai box office. Rajinikanth has a loyal fan base in the US and his film Petta released in 251 locations across the country. Finally, box office figures of Petta or Viswasam will decide the actual winner at Tamil Nadu box office this Pongal.

In the meantime, there is buzz that Rajinikanth’s next movie is said to be with AR Murugadoss. We really can't wait o know what character AR Murugadoss has planned for Rajini. More details about the movie are yet to be announced.
