Naa Peru Surya Collections More Than VVR

Allu Arjun, Ram Charan - Sakshi Post

After a blockbuster hit like Rangasthalam, Ram Charan's latest venture Vinaya Vidheya Rama has ended as a dud at the box office. We all know that Bunny's last appearance in Naa Peru Surya and his performance earned recognition from his fans. But, Bunny was unable to pull audiences to theatres due to its weak plot. If Mega fans this was the biggest disaster then enter Charan with his new film which has opened to lukewarm response at the box office.

Ram Charan's Vinaya Vidheya Rama, the actor's first outing has got bad reviews from audiences. We hate to compare the fate of Naa Peru Surya with Vinaya Vidheya Rama box office report. But it seems inevitable. Bunny's Naa Peru Surya had collected $378 from premiere shows while Charan's VVR has earned a total of $180k which is the least for any Telugu film. This is really a big shock for trade experts, exhibitors and distributors of the movie. Any movie must at least breakeven the numbers to put the film in a safe zone.

VVR premieres is reported to have earned Rs $1.8 million. The talk about the movie is already facing rejection in theatres. It appears Vinaya Vidheya Rama may not even break-even if the poor word of mouth continues for the movie. On top of it all, huge competition from Venkatesh's F2 which is going great guns at the box office will act against the film.

Vinaya Vidheya Rama is directed by Boyapati Srinu and Produced by Boyapati Srinu. Kiara Advani and Vivek Oberoi are seen in prominent roles and they have nailed their respective characters.
